9×12 Standard Print | Heavy Cardstock Cotton Paper
This is a high quality 9x12 professionally produced standard print on heavy card stock cotton paper. Each piece is signed and dated by me, the artist, Lara Faye Popkess.
After seeing foxgloves in New Zealand, I did a little research and stumbled across an array of folklore tales; My favorite being the belief that fairies gifted foxgloves to foxes to wear the flowers on their paws for protection and stealth, allowing them to silently move through the forest in order to avoid hunters and prey. Foxgloves are also often used in herbal remedies, but can be deadly in large quantities, symbolizing both life and death.
The original 12x16 watercolor painting used Daniel Smith watercolors on cold pressed Arches watercolor paper.
This print is available as a 9x12 standard print, but please feel free to contact me with additional size requests.
